Another Motaku has come and gone. We had over 750 attendees this year, so next year we should hit about 1000!

Without the help of these sponsors we would definitely have not been able to give away over $800 in prizes for gameshows and contests.

Two more new things happening at Motaku this year will involve tea.
On Saturday, there will be an Alice in Wonderland themed tea party(hosted by the Ouran Host Club) at 1PM. There will be an additional cost of $5 per person for this event, and space will be limited. You can buy tickets at Registration all day Friday, or before noon on Saturday(remaining tickets will be available at the event at 1).
Sunday Morning at 10AM there will be a Japanese Tea Ceremony. Learn the history of the Japanese traditions surrounding tea and partake in a traditional tea ceremony. There will be no additional cost for this event.

Are you tired of the same, boring cosplay contests? Have no fear, Motaku is here!
In addition to our awesome Runway Show, with many more categories than just cosplay(for example Lolita, Visual Kei, Steampunk, etc.), this year we will be transforming our former skits competition into a TALENT SHOW!

Motaku’s Most Talented will give attendees, in and out of costume(bonus if you are in costume) the chance to strut their stuff (whether that be magic, singing, tap dancing wolverines, or whatever else) in front of the rest of the con and a panel of judges.

Motaku’s Most Talented will be on Friday night, just one of the many awesome things that make us worth getting a weekend pass.

Weekend passes(for all three days) will be available at the door for $40

Day Passes will be available at the door for: $25 Friday, $30 Saturday, $25 Sunday

Day passes will not receive a badge, if you want a badge, you must register for the weekend.
